Dear Student:

So, you've been writing your papers relentlessly. You have studied and crammed your head with keynotes, pictures, essences and caricatures of remedies and now there is the three year itch to prescribe. You want give a remedy to a friend or family member or someone you know "who needs a remedy."

Good and congratulations on your hard work.

Indeed it was hard and grinding. At least it was for me and I still have these papers in their plastic covers and the price tag still glued to them. I dread reading them now and that's the way it should be. I dread looking at the marks and see how wrong they were at times. I remember one paper on Argentum metallicum where I had introduced an idea of performance, the silver screen and the difference with the valued Aurum in their responsibilities. I got a 65, my lowest mark. And yet a couple of years later Jan Sholten wrote that very same idea. I'm sure you have felt at times that you were absolutely right and did not get the benefit of it. Well, here is supervision where the goal is not right or wrong but rather process and how to develop and hone your skills in so that you can prescribe in intelligent confidence. What we don't want is "this is an Ignatia case!" Black and white do not make light. What we ALL want is the rainbow. How you understand the patient in his or her ailment is one thing but what is your process? My job is to help you in your process. To uncover it's strengths and weaknesses so that, in the "end," you will know more about yourself and will therefore be a better homeopath. The process does not stop there since I will learn about myself as well and this relationship will in turn better TSHNY.

Now that we have come full circle in a nutshell you might want to think about Lappa officinalis or Vinca minor when you're thinking of Hepar sulphuricum calcareum. Or, in that Ignatia case why not think of Ipecacuanha or Nux vomica.

Let the serious fun begin.

Details of contracts and various different paper works such as top sheets etc...will be posted here as well later.
